Niet iedereen zal dit erg vinden, maar wacht maar eens tot je deze gedachte dropt bij het O17 (onder-17) team van Helmond Sport.
Dat is precies wat wij afgelopen maandag hebben gedaan! Zowel spelers als staff waren deze dag te gast bij AAE om in het kader van hun Academy Dag te leren en inspiratie op te doen.
Zo hebben zij na een presentatie en rondleiding geleerd dat werken bij AAE toch wel gelijk staat aan topsport. ๐
Maar nog belangrijker, ze gingen vervolgens zelf aan de slag met een ontwikkelplan. Na het opstellen van een persoonlijke SWOT-Analyse gingen de spelers bij zichzelf na welk beroep zij zouden willen uitoefenen in een wereld waar voetbal geen prioriteit voor hen is.
Van advocaat tot business analist tot personal trainer, er kwamen veel verschillende beroepen voorbij.
Maar het allerbelangrijkste is dat wij deze jonge talenten hebben kunnen helpen om even stil te staan bij hun persoonlijke ontwikkeling.
Wellicht zien we deze gezellige groep heren ooit terug in een andere rol, maar hopelijk zien we ze over een paar jaar allemaal shinen op De Braak! โฝ

Not everyone will mind this, but try dropping that thought with the U17 team of Helmond Sport.
That's exactly what we did last Monday! Both players and staff visited AAE as a part of their Academy Day to learn and draw inspiration.
After a presentation and tour, they discovered that working at AAE is actually quite similar to playing top-level sports. ๐
But even more importantly, they then got hands-on with a personal development plan. Following the creation of a personal SWOT analysis, the players reflected on which career theyโd like to pursue in a world where soccer isnโt their main focus.
From lawyer to business analyst to personal trainer, a wide range of professions came up.
But the most important part was that we helped these young talents take a moment to think about their personal development.
Perhaps weโll see this lively group of young men back in different roles one day, but hopefully, in a few years, weโll see them all shining on the field at โDe Braakโ! โฝ
