What will your role be?

Together with our team, you will translate customer requirements and specifications into innovative designs for high-tech production and qualification systems within our UCPM business line. These systems are used in our own factory to produce and qualify products, ensuring the highest quality and maintaining our position as a market leader. And the best part? UCPM? That stands for Ultra Conditioned Precision Modules, one of our three business lines. Here, we develop high-quality, ultra-precise OEM modules for leading high-tech companies that operate under extreme conditions. These clients innovate at lightning speed—and we keep up.

As a UCPM System Engineer at AAE in Helmond, you and your team will achieve ambitious goals and make a significant impact on our organization by:

• Leading a multidisciplinary team, monitoring progress, and managing deliverables throughout all phases (V-model) of development.
• Conducting thorough analysis (CAFCR) and coordinating requirements with all stakeholders (internal and external) during the project lifecycle.
• Not shying away from hands-on involvement, whether during product validation and verification or when challenges arise in operation.
• Contributing to team development and refining workflows to elevate product development, staying alert to new technological advancements.

Above all, everything we do, we do well and together. You will work closely with clients, the entire engineering team, and other departments such as account management, project management, logistics, procurement, and operations.

You’ve got what it takes

We are looking for a system engineer who thrives on, or better yet, gets energized by, leading multidisciplinary teams and improving team performance and collaboration. Your broad technical interests and experience drive you to seek innovative solutions. At AAE, you will work on custom solutions for and with our clients, translating their needs into optimal systems. It doesn’t get better than that!

As a system engineer, you will be able to manage processes, monitor progress, and take responsibility for the final outcome. Additionally, you have:

• A Master’s degree in a technical field.
• 8–10 years of experience in Systems Engineering, including:
  • Requirements management (decomposition & allocation)
  • Architecture & interface definition
  • Machine validation (MSA)
  • Problem-solving & decision-making
  • Stakeholder management
  
  
• Strong command of English, as we are an international company working with global clients.
