We develop and build high-tech modules and systems that perform ultra-precise analyses or processes, as well as machines capable of producing up to 350 million products per year. It’s exciting that you, as our new Technology Specialist, want to contribute to this mission and join our team of six scientists within UCPM (Ultra Conditioned Precision Modules), one of our three business lines.

What will your role be?

We can’t wait to welcome you as our new Technology Specialist. You thrive on pioneering within our family business in the field of thermo-fluid dynamics. You will lay the foundation for these disciplines at AAE, and that motivates you.

You will become an essential part of our team, helping shape our global ambitions by:

• Owning the creation and execution of an innovation roadmap for vacuum, cryogenic, and thermo-fluid dynamics within AAE.
• Optimizing our thermo-fluid dynamics processes across all operations, including suppliers.
• Advising engineering colleagues and clients on the design of thermo-fluid dynamics qualification and production processes, working closely with multiple teams.
• Raising awareness of thermo-fluid dynamics within the organization and implementing best practices in design and operations.
• Collaborating closely with colleagues, management, institutes, and universities to develop strategies that meet client requirements, lead the sector, and maintain our market-leading position.

You will work in a team of six scientists, each with their own specialization, forming a key part of the bigger picture.

You’ve got what it takes

You are a Technology Specialist in thermo-fluid dynamics with a scientific background, strong skills in developing and optimizing thermo-fluid dynamics systems, and experience implementing these across the organization and with suppliers.

We are looking for someone who can think strategically, maintain a long-term roadmap, and always focus on optimization. At the same time, you are pragmatic. Some issues require immediate solutions, even without all the information.

Additionally, you bring:

• A background in Applied Sciences / Fluid Dynamics / scientific research (preferably PhD or MSc with ~10 years of experience).
• Strong communication skills: you support and educate our operational colleagues on our thermo-fluid dynamics challenges, including vacuum and cryogenics.
• Proven experience in thermo-fluid dynamics, vacuum, and cryogenics.

As our new Technology Specialist (40-hour workweek), you will receive:

• A gross monthly salary between €5.000 and €9.100, depending on your experience and performance.
