We do this by developing and building high-tech modules, systems and machines that perform highly precise analyses and operations or enable large-scale production. Think of fully automated systems capable of producing up to 350 million products per year. 

As an Improvement Knight, you contribute to that mission by not only identifying opportunities for improvement, but also turning them into reality and embedding them sustainably within our organization. 

You will join an environment full of variety, dynamics and technical depth. The improvement projects you work on are as diverse as our customers, markets and technologies. Sometimes you will optimize a process within a single department. Other times, you will lead organization-wide improvements involving multiple disciplines. This combination of content, collaboration and visible results makes this role ideal for someone who is energized by continuous improvement and leveraging digital opportunities.

What will your role be?

As an Improvement Knight, you bring a fresh and analytical perspective to existing ways of working. You identify opportunities to work smarter, faster and better, and translate insights into concrete improvement initiatives. We deliberately gave this role a distinctive title because, as an Improvement Knight, you help AAE stay ahead in a world that is constantly evolving.

You will make an impact by successfully:

• Taking the lead in a wide range of internal improvement projects, from short-term assignments within a single department to long-term multidisciplinary programs.
• Managing project activities and executing day-to-day project work.
• Creating alignment between departments and coordinating with other initiatives across AAE where synergies or integration opportunities exist.
• Building expertise in relevant topics, sharing knowledge and acting as a sparring partner for employees at all levels of the organization.
• Identifying opportunities in data, digitalization and process optimization.
• Exploring new technologies, including AI applications, and implementing them where they create value.

Everything we do, we do well and we do together. In your projects, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams and connect people, departments and initiatives. You will also become part of a team of Improvement Knights, where knowledge sharing, learning and growth are central.

• A completed bachelor's or master's degree.
• Affinity with a high-tech manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.

Based on a 40-hour workweek, we offer:

• A gross monthly salary between €3,300 and €5,500, depending on your knowledge and experience.
• Annual profit sharing.
