What will your role be?

As a Supplier Quality Assurance Officer, you are the linking pin between AAE and our suppliers. You’ll be on the move, analyzing and improving—always with a focus on quality and collaboration. In this role, you contribute to further professionalizing our supplier processes. Your role has a significant impact on our organization and the professionalization phase we are in.

What you’ll be doing:

• Conducting audits with suppliers (an average of 4 per month, primarily in the Netherlands and Western Europe, with occasional global travel) to assess if they meet our quality standards.

• Analyzing data to monitor supplier performance and initiate improvement actions.

• Evaluating new suppliers for suitability and quality compliance.

• Initiating process improvements—not through set KPIs and strict deadlines, but with the AAE approach: continuous improvement, always collaborative and people-focused.

• Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and internal teams, treating them as valued partners to operate as true business collaborators. Our suppliers are a critical asset, and we are committed to maintaining strong, trusted partnerships with them.

You got what it takes

You are a driven professional who prioritizes quality and builds strong partnerships with suppliers. You combine data analysis with a pragmatic approach and continuously spot opportunities for process improvement.

What we’re looking for:

• A completed bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field (e.g., mechanical engineering).

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar quality role, preferably focused on supplier processes.

• Proven experience in audits and supplier process improvements.

• Strong analytical skills: you can translate data into actionable insights.

• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.

• You are proactive, detail-oriented, and thrive in an environment where quality, collaboration, and humanity are at the forefront.
