What will your role be?

As a CAM Engineer, you play a crucial role in the production process of a wide range of products—simple, highly complex, and everything in between. You are an expert in precisely organizing the entire machining process to ensure it runs optimally and, most importantly, that quality is guaranteed at all times. With your expertise, we can even eliminate the need for a final quality check!

In your role, you actively contribute to improving existing production processes and provide input on future challenges. At AAE, we create things that have never been made before, and you will play a major role in this too. You will analyze what is required, which machines should be used, and how we can best scale up for serial production. In addition, you will be responsible for:

• Proactively advising on manufacturability in NPI (New Product Introduction) projects.
• Ensuring the quality of machining processes.
• Driving and promoting automation within our processes.
• Increasing overall productivity within the production process, with a long-term vision.

Finally, at AAE, we do things well and together. Speaking of teamwork, you'll work closely with a team of three colleagues and one trainee. The team meets weekly, and everyone is ready to help each other out. Is there a tough task ahead? Then the team will sit down together to figure out how to tackle it, and who does what. Even outside of work, the CAM team is actively involved in many AAE activities, regularly competing for top honors!

For this position, we are looking for a CAM Engineer who knows how to connect. You are the team player we need because you're excellent at switching between our customers and your colleagues. You just make it happen! At AAE, you work on custom solutions alongside our customers. And saying something can't be done? That's not in your vocabulary. You always think in solutions. Your eye for detail and process control ensures we almost never have to measure twice; everything is spot-on. Thanks to your dedication, our processes remain error-free, and all products are delivered on time, ready for the next step.

In addition, you have:

• Higher vocational education (HBO) level of work and thinking, with a completed technical education.
• Knowledge and experience with a programming program, preferably HyperMill. Don’t have experience with HyperMill? No problem, we'll train you.
• The ability to share knowledge. You not only enjoy staying up-to-date with the latest developments in our field—such as milling—but you also take pleasure in passing this knowledge on to your team members.

As a CAM Engineer with us (based on a 40-hour workweek), we offer:

• A salary between €2,900 and €5,000, depending on your experience and performance.
• Annual profit sharing.
• Varied work with different technologies, markets, and projects.
• 40 vacation days and travel allowance.
• The possibility of part-time work (32-40 hours per week).
