Customer Quality Engineer

At AAE in Helmond, you play a key role as a Customer Quality Engineer in ensuring the quality of our advanced high-tech products.

What will your role be?

As a Customer Quality Engineer, you will be the essential link between the needs of our customers and the goals of AAE. With your keen eye for quality and your passion for customer satisfaction, you have the opportunity to truly make a difference at AAE. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and making sure that complaints are resolved effectively and efficiently.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Preparing reports on product deviations and following up on and resolving customer complaints.
  • Analyzing product and process deviations using the 8D methodology.
  • Initiating and guiding improvements within Engineering, Production, and potentially the Supply Chain.
  • Promoting and fostering quality awareness within the organization and actively participating in its further development.

You will join a dynamic quality team that works closely with the rest of the organization. At AAE, quality is increasingly embraced and recognized as the foundation of everything we do. Without quality, we cannot be a top player in the market.

You got what it takes

For this position, we are looking for a Customer Quality Engineer who not only has extensive experience but also enjoys building strong relationships with customers. We always strive for 'first time right', meaning we aim to do things perfectly the first time. But what happens when something unexpectedly goes wrong, and a quality issue arises? That’s where you come in! The solid relationship you’ve built with the customer gives you the opportunity to work together to find the best solution, while also being able to be critical if the complaint is unjustified. You will work closely with the product manager and the account manager. You’re not afraid to take responsibility. In addition, you have:

  • A higher vocational (HBO) or university (WO) degree in a technical field.
  • Experience in Customer Quality or Support within a technical environment. Whether it’s 3, 7, or 15 years, your track record speaks for itself.
  • Knowledge of quality tools such as 8D analysis and FMEA.
  • A strong command of Dutch and English, as we operate internationally.

  • A gross monthly salary ranging between €3,200 and €6200, with potential growth based on your performance.
  • An annual profit-sharing bonus.
