One of our most important clients has asked us to develop an entirely new module. The impact of this product on AAE is, to put it modestly, as significant in revenue as AAE itself currently is in size. We're not just talking about developing new processes and a new team, but even a new building. And for this new – highly advanced and groundbreaking – product, we need you! Lead NPI engineer. In short, you will be responsible for setting up the entire manufacturing process for this complex new product.

What will your role be?

For this highly advanced product, you will lead a team of engineers to establish the entire production process. Together with the project manager, you will be responsible for this project. We are looking forward to your arrival so that we can take the next steps together on this groundbreaking journey.

As the lead NPI engineer at AAE in Helmond, you will be the driving force behind the product introduction, supported by the 15 to 20 engineers under your operational leadership. You will bring together various departments to achieve the desired end result. And the best part? You'll see your work come to life. The glass walls in our impressive factories and close collaboration with production certainly contribute to that.

You will achieve ambitious goals and make an impact on our organization by successfully:

• Organizing and leading a large technical team within this NPI project, with the goal of successfully introducing a new, large, and complex product within AAE.
• Supporting the project manager by ensuring the timely delivery of the agreed NPI deliverables, thereby successfully introducing the product into the operational organization.
• As a leader, you will take on whatever is necessary to ensure the success of the NPI project, whether it involves the team, the client, or other parts of the organization, and whether it pertains to technology, logistics, quality, or costs.

You got what it takes

For this position, we’re looking for a decisive lead NPI engineer who is good at connecting people, both internally and externally.

Additionally, you have:

• At least 5 years of experience leading large NPI projects in the manufacturing industry.
• A master’s degree in a technical field.
• Knowledge of, and extensive experience with, the APQP NPI process.
• Expertise in high-end series production within the manufacturing industry.
• Leadership skills. You take initiative, look beyond boundaries, and inspire and guide your team.

As a Lead NPI Engineer (based on a 40-hour workweek), we offer you:

• A gross monthly salary between €5,100 and €8,000, which increases with your performance.
