What will your role be?

We can't wait to welcome you as a logistics engineer, where you'll ensure that our operational processes run smoothly and that products reach our customers in time. You will be the driving force behind the optimalization of our logistics processes, helping us maintain our position as a top player in the market and achieve our global ambitions.

As a logistics engineer at AAE, you are in the right place. Here, you'll have the freedom to develop your personal roadmap and create the foundation for a streamlined logistics operation. You will be responsible for implementing programs like inventory control and supply chain integration. Essentially, you'll act as an internal consultant, analyzing process changes and advising on their impact so that other departments can apply your insights. The ultimate goal? To elevate the reliability of our logistics process to a higher level.

You'll achieve ambitious goals and make a lasting impact by:

• Serving as the company-wide expert in integrated logistics.
• Continuously monitoring our processes, identifying bottlenecks, and proactively addressing them.
• Preparing new products for volume growth, ensuring they can be produced efficiently and at scale.
• Participating in projects and taking responsibility for logistics challenges, such as reducing lead times and optimizing our production ratios.
• Coordinating the supply chain in areas such as lead times and order transparency.
• Contributing to sustainability by reusing, repairing, or repurposing excess inventory.

Within the team, you'll work closely with five colleagues, each handling their own projects, but always ready to brainstorm and share new ideas together. And you won't want to miss Fridays. The team always orders delicious sandwiches from a different place each week (based on a choice wheel) together with the planning department. We also keep things lively by participating in activities like AAE Adventure, Friday afternoon drinks, and pub quizzes. You'll be joining a close-knit group!
