What will your role be?

Working on a project basis, procuring with a focus on costs, and continuously balancing price, performance, and planning – this is where your strength lies. As a Project Buyer within AOS, you act as the commercial conscience within technical project teams. You collaborate with engineers, coordinate with suppliers, and make adjustments where needed. You keep an overview and know exactly when to push forward and when to align with others.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating the full quotation process: from specifications to contract agreements.
• Negotiating firmly yet fairly – with an eye for sustainable partnerships and our margins.
• Monitoring delivery performance in terms of Quality, Delivery & Cost (QDC).
• Continuously improving and aligning our supply base with changing market conditions.
• Working closely with engineers, quality teams, project managers, and logistics – acting as a key connector within project teams.
• Actively contributing to the development of a future-proof sourcing strategy within AOS.

You’ll be part of a close-knit procurement team of around 25 colleagues, ranging from junior to senior buyers. Within AOS, you’ll experience a dynamic project-driven atmosphere, short communication lines, and an open culture. You got what it takes

What you will bring:

• A higher professional education (HBO) level of thinking
• At least 5 years of experience as a tactical/technical buyer in manufacturing
• Proven experience with project-based work
• Affinity with production processes and technical drawings
• Experience with ERP systems
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English (German is a plus)

As a Project Buyer (based on a 40-hour work week), we offer:

• A gross monthly salary between €3,600 and €6,600, depending on your performance
• An annual profit-sharing bonus
