Why AAE?
Allround Mechanic Cleanroom
Become an Allround Mechanic Cleanroom at AAE and help build ground-breaking technology for top clients around the world!
You make sure we can keep delivering to our biggest clients
In our cleanroom, it's all about precision, teamwork, and impact. As an Allround Mechanic Cleanroom, you play a crucial role in building, testing, and qualifying high-tech modules for leading players in the high-tech industry. Thanks to your accuracy and craftsmanship, our products leave the building flawless. Without you, there are no deliveries, and therefore no revenue. Together with your team, you're the final step in the process: the module isn’t finished until you've fine-tuned it to perfection. That makes you essential to our mission to improve the world every day through ground-breaking technology.
Pushing technical boundaries
At AAE, we develop technology that truly makes a difference. From fully automated production lines that handle up to 350 million products a year, to high-tech modules that form the beating heart of the most advanced machines in industries like medical and semiconductors. And we do it all under one roof in Helmond.
Our cleanroom is a stage for precision and innovation. Here, we build complex modules that are essential for lithography systems and advanced microscopy solutions. Every detail matters, and that’s exactly why we need skilled professionals like you.
What will your role be?
Is your motto “If you’re going to do it, do it right”? Perfect. Because as an Allround Mechanic Cleanroom, nothing less than perfection will do. You’re responsible for assembling, testing, and qualifying complex high-tech modules. Your day starts with a team stand-up, where you and your colleagues discuss the planning and challenges ahead. Then, it’s time to build, measure, test, and digitally document the modules. The work is structured, but far from repetitive: our goal is to make every mechanic truly allround, which means variety, challenge, and plenty of room for development.
Specifically, this means you will:
- Assemble high-tech modules according to strict guidelines;
- Test and qualify modules based on various quality requirements;
- Digitally record all progress (think: photos, checklists, test data in the shopfloor control system);
- Work closely with colleagues from Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Material Handling;
- Contribute ideas for process improvements and product optimization;
- Actively take part in team training to continuously improve together.
Your team? You’ll work in a sub-team of 6 people, within a larger team of 18. Together, you’re a close-knit group where there’s always time for a joke, a game of foosball during lunch, and professional growth. The vibe is great, the teamwork solid, and there’s always someone ready to lend a hand.
Be part of something great
At AAE, you’re never on your own. You become part of a family business where we work hard, but also know how to have fun. From summer BBQs to sports events, Funky Fridays to awesome team outings. Whether you’ve been with us for a week or a decade: once AAE, always AAE. Our culture is all about growing together, laughing together, and pushing boundaries, always as a team.
You’ve got what it takes
You’re a precision-minded technician who thrives in a clean and structured environment. You work carefully, are digitally savvy, and always have an eye for improvement. You love working with others, sharing knowledge, and developing yourself further.
We’re looking for someone with:
- A completed MBO level 3 or 4 technical education;
- 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience;
- Preferably experience in a cleanroom environment;
- Affinity with assembly, testing, and quality registration;
- Team spirit, accuracy, and a proactive attitude.
How we take care of you
At AAE, we care deeply about your job happiness. That shows in many ways, from extensive training and career opportunities to our broad vitality program focused on your physical and mental well-being. Did you know AAE was named a ‘World Class Workplace 2023–2024’? That’s a label only awarded when employees themselves rate their employer above average.
As an Allround Mechanic Cleanroom, we offer you (based on a 40-hour workweek):
- A gross monthly salary between €2.700,- and €5.400,-, based on your experience and growth;
- An annual profit-sharing bonus;
- 40 vacation days;
- Travel allowance;
- Access to the AAE Academy.
Together we move the world happily forward
