As Production Manager within our Printing & Assembly Automation (PAA) business line, you are the vital link between people, technology and the future.

You lead the department responsible for assembling, testing, and installing our highly advanced PAA machines, systems that enable smart assembly, precision printing solutions and groundbreaking automation around the world.

What will your role be?

As Production Manager PAA, you are the one who keeps the overview, brings structure and looks ahead. You are responsible for the entire Assembly PAA department, from leading the Team Leads to optimizing processes, quality, and safety. And you don’t do this alone: together with fellow production managers, team leads and operations, you form a close-knit network that makes our PAA organization future-proof.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Creating a safe, enjoyable working environment and encouraging both personal and professional development.
• Ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time, in collaboration with Team Leads and other Production Managers.
• Representing Production within the PAA business line.
• Analyzing and reporting on the production process, including improvement proposals and the implementation thereof.
• Collaborating within the PAA Management Team and reporting to the Operations Manager.

You’ll work closely with the Team Leads of PAA and, on behalf of Assembly, you will be part of the PAA Management Team, together with representatives from Business, Engineering, Purchase and Finance. Hierarchically, you report to the Director Operations.

You've got what it takes

We’re looking for someone with experience and character. You know how to get people moving, without needing to be in the spotlight. You’re sharp, collaborative, and bring solid technical expertise to the table. Sound familiar? Great.

• Academic working and thinking level, with at least a completed bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Automotive).
• Extensive experience leading a department of 30+ FTE.
• A true team player within your own department and across the wider organization.
• You know how to inspire and motivate, even when the going gets tough.
• Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
• Strong affinity with process optimization in high-tech machine manufacturing.
• Analytically strong, with the ability to distinguish between the essential and the trivial.
• Experience managing field service teams is a plus.

As a Production Manager PAA, based on a 40-hour workweek, we offer you:

• A gross monthly salary between €5,000 and €8,500 (depending on experience and performance)
• An annual profit-sharing bonus
