It’s our mission to improve the world with our groundbreaking technological solutions. We do this by developing and manufacturing high tech modules, systems and machines. An example would be one of our complete automated systems that produce up to 350 million products a year.

What will your role be?

We can’t wait for you, as Sustainability Knight, to contribute to our mission. By both kickstarting and embedding a sustainable way of thinking and doing within AAE. Thanks to your efforts we’ll remain the market leader and we’ll be able to achieve our goals and ambitions in a sustainable manner.

Let’s take a closer look at how you’ll achieve these ambitious goals:

• 'Winning hearts’: by boosting awareness, understanding and energy regarding sustainability. For example by organizing events or by helping to bridge the gap between our ambition and our day-to-day activities with effective communication.
• ‘Winning minds’: creating a practical, data-based framework for sustainability performance. Always starting with the question “How can we effectively map our impact on subject A or B digitally?”.
• Driving the definition and execution of sustainability projects (both on a bigger scale and within specific departments). An example would be setting up projects to increase our positive social impact, or supporting a specific department with a sustainability challenge or request.
• Translate sustainability goals into actionable plans together with colleagues.
• Monitor the progress of projects and identify opportunities for improvement.

Whatever we do, we do it the best way possible and always together. Speaking of which: you’ll be working in a team with two other members.

You’ve got what it takes

Of course you do! As a Sustainability Knight you’re naturally driven to work on sustainability. You are experienced as project manager, sustainability employee, or have experience in similar roles. You know well how to connect, motivate and inspire others. You’re able to combine this with your strategic way of thinking. Thanks to this way of thinking you’re not only able to distil the most complex themes into thinking frameworks, but you’re able to put them into practice as well. In addition you possess:

• A bachelor’s- or master’s degree way of thinking and working.
• Experience as a Project Manager, Sustainability Professional, or in a similar role.
• Working in a hightech environment is something you’re enthusiastic about.
• Excellent English language skills.

• A gross monthly salary between € 3.300 en € 6.000. This salary grows alongside your performance.
• Annual profit-sharing bonus.
• 40 days of paid leave (27 vacation days + 13 additional leave days).
• Travel allowance.
• Participation in the ‘AAE Academy’.
• Possibility of part-time employment (0.8 FTE).
