Within the AOS business line, we work in co-creation with customers from industries including semiconductor, medical, life sciences and consumer goods. We help them translate their designs into smart, manufacturable systems and then take care of the complete engineering and production process. This allows our customers to focus on innovation while we ensure reliable, high-quality realization.

What will your role be?

At AAE, we are looking for a Lead Electrical Engineer who knows how to connect customers, colleagues and the bigger picture. You will work on the control systems of hightech mechatronic systems and switch effortlessly between design, implementation and technical coordination.

Your responsibilities include:

• Translating customer requirements from URS to SRD into technical specifications.
• Designing and specifying electrical control systems for mechatronic systems.
• Submitting purchase requests and following up with our purchasing department.
• Preparing validation and test documentation.
• Discussing functionality, safety and cost optimization with customers.
• Taking technical leadership within projects, acting as the technical driving force without having hierarchical responsibility.

What we are looking for:

• A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a comparable field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in electrical control engineering.
• Knowledge of PLC systems, motion control and safety systems.
• Familiarity with standards, directives and CE requirements related to machine safety.
• Experience with EPLAN P8 is an advantage.
• An affinity with mechanics and control engineering.

As Lead Electrical Engineer AOS, based on a 40-hour working week, we also offer:

• A gross monthly salary between €3,500 and €6,700, depending on your knowledge and experience. Your salary grows in line with your performance.
• Annual profit sharing.
• 40 days off, consisting of 27 vacation days and 13 ADV days.
• Travel allowance.
