As Engineering Manager at AAE in Helmond, you will help build the engineering organization behind the next generation of high-tech systems.

Within our Advanced OEM Systems business line, you will provide direction for Quality and Technology. You will bring different engineering disciplines together and help teams and individuals grow and develop. As a member of the Management Team, you will connect engineering, quality, commercial, Operations, and Supply Chain.

Pushing technical boundaries

AAE is a family-owned high-tech company in Helmond with approximately 600 employees. Across three business lines, we develop and manufacture technology that helps make the world a little better.

Advanced OEM Systems (AOS) is one of these business lines. Within AOS, we work with start-ups, scale-ups, and established OEMs. We collaborate with our customers on their technology and help them develop new products and prepare them for series production.

We work on complete high-tech systems for industries including semiconductors, medical technology, life sciences, and consumer goods. We turn designs into manufacturable systems and reliable production processes.

This is the business line where we would like to welcome you as our Engineering Manager.

What will your role be?

As Engineering Manager, you will combine engineering, leadership, and collaboration. You will work with a variety of customers and technologies while helping shape the continued development of our engineering organization.

You will lead professionals from different engineering disciplines. You will bring their knowledge and perspectives together, help people develop, and provide clarity in technical and organizational decision-making.

Your main responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for Quality and Technology within the AOS Management Team.
• You will guide the continued development of our multidisciplinary engineering organization and create an environment where engineers can collaborate effectively and grow professionally.
• You will connect Mechanical, Software, Electronics, Systems, and Manufacturing Engineering and ensure that expertise and capacity are used effectively.
• Together with the teams, you will ensure technical quality and help resolve complex engineering challenges.
• You will translate relevant technological developments into choices that help shape our future.
• You will collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain to ensure that new machines and systems can be produced reliably and at scale.

You’ve got what it takes

For this position, we are particularly interested in your experience in machine design and development and your experience leading people.

• You have a bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field.
• You have experience designing or developing machines or complex mechatronic systems.
• You have several years of experience leading technical professionals.
• You know how to bring different technical disciplines and perspectives together.
• You can translate technical challenges into clear decisions for your team, customers, and the organization.

For this position, we offer:

• A gross monthly salary between €5,500 and €9,000 based on a 40-hour workweek, depending on your knowledge and experience.
• The option to work 32 to 40 hours per week.
