As a Test Technician at AAE in Helmond, you ensure that high-tech products meet all quality requirements before they are delivered to the customer. Working in the cleanroom of our Ultra Conditioned Precision Modules (UCPM) business line, you perform functional tests and cleanliness qualifications after assembly. Your work is essential to ensuring the quality and reliability of our precision technology.
Pushing technical boundaries
At AAE, we develop technology that makes the world a little better. Together with around 600 colleagues, we push the boundaries of technology every day.
Within our Ultra Conditioned Precision Modules (UCPM) business line, we develop and manufacture extremely precise modules for industries including semiconductor and life sciences. These products must meet exceptionally high standards for precision, cleanliness, and reliability.
As a Test Technician, you work in our UCPM cleanroom, testing a highly advanced product for a leading technology company in the region, for which AAE is the sole supplier. You make sure the product only moves on to the customer once all tests have been successfully completed.
What will your role be?
As a Test Technician, you are responsible for performing, evaluating, and documenting the final tests after assembly. You carry out these tests in our cleanroom, following strict cleanliness and quality requirements.
Your key responsibilities include:
Performing functional tests to verify that products operate according to the required specifications.
Performing cleanliness qualifications using extremely clean, dry air.
Performing cleanliness qualifications using ultrapure water.
Operating and configuring specialized qualification equipment.
Analyzing test results that fall outside specifications and investigating the root causes of technical issues.
Recording and documenting test data to ensure that all results are complete, clear, and traceable.
Collaborating with colleagues to investigate deviations, identify potential solutions, and resolve technical issues.
Being part of something great
At AAE, we believe we achieve more together. You'll be part of a team of six immediate colleagues, where sharing technical knowledge and helping each other are an important part of everyday work.
Our culture is built around four values: Can Do, Ambitious, Human, and Together. We take on technical challenges, continuously look for ways to improve, care about one another, and work together to achieve the best results.
You'll have the opportunity to put your technical curiosity to work. After all, it's the colleagues who ask questions, think critically, and identify opportunities for improvement who help us maintain our high quality standards.
You've got what it takes
You don't need to have all the answers right away. What matters most to us is that you have strong technical skills, work accurately, and are curious about how things work.
You also bring:
At least 3 years of relevant technical work experience, preferably involving the testing, inspection, or analysis of technical systems.
A completed vocational qualification, preferably in a relevant technical field, at a minimum of Dutch MBO level 3 or equivalent.
The ability to evaluate test results, identify deviations, and systematically investigate and resolve technical issues.
A precise, focused, and detail-oriented approach to your work.
A collaborative mindset and a willingness to share your technical knowledge with colleagues.
A willingness to follow the specific work instructions and cleanliness requirements of a cleanroom environment.
